For the first time since its creation in 1994 by the magazine Montres Passion, the Watch of the Year award saw the opinions of the general public and those of the jury converge as both opted for the Breguet Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde 7097 as their choice of Swiss Replica Watches of the Year.

Vacheron Constantin scooped the prize for the ladies’ watch with the Harmony Dual Time Petit Modèle et F. P. Journe took the second-placed jury prize with its Octa Lune. Chopard came in third with its L.U.C Regulator.

In order to be eligible for the competition a watch had to have been made in Swiss and carry the Swiss Made label, be produced in a series of at least 200 and cost no more than 50,000 Swiss francs. The aim of Montres Passion magazine is to reward affordable Swiss replica watches that are within the reach of its readers.
